When I first heard Kolinga’s Kongo, the vocals and guitar stood out immediately—rich, raw, and distinct. The song had a strong identity, and I was curious to see how it might translate into a club setting.
I didn’t want to change its essence, so I kept the French vocals and guitar intact. Instead of reshaping the core, I built around it—adding progressive house and trance elements to give the track more drive and energy.
The idea wasn’t to make it bigger for the sake of it, but to give it a new context. Something that could work on a dancefloor without losing the emotion of the original. The remix blends melodic layers and a steady groove, aimed at DJs and fans of deeper electronic sounds.
It’s always a balance—preserving what makes a track special while making space for something new. This version of Kongo is my take on that balance.
